Brief
Each year Wakelet LIVE adopts a different theme to help keep the event fresh and exciting. The theme for this year was amusement parks! All of the advertorial and marketing collateral fell in line with this theme.
The fresh identity had to feel both true to the Wakelet brand, yet uniquely different and stand-alone. The desired look and feel was modern, exciting, and fresh, and had to be versatile in order to work across channels and mediums.
My work for this project went beyond design and creating a variety of content for marketing and advertising, I was also project managing Wakelet LIVE and directing and producing the main event.
I worked with teams from across the business to ensure this project ran smoothly and was delivered to the highest standard.
Results
The finalised branding was fun, vibrant, and modern, and came together to make for an impactful and memorable style and creative direction.
To bring the vision to life, I spent time researching and understanding what is at the centre of a theme park experience, and experimented how I could bring this in to the look and feel of Wakelet LIVE.
Along the way, I developed a range of assets that felt unique, exciting, and fresh. The designs went beyond just branding and became an immersive experience for the audience that was infused in every touch point.
Not only does each element of the final design answer the original brief, it also remains familiar to the original Wakelet brand resulting in the feedback from the team and the community being the best to date!
Social media stats were higher than ever, and view counts on the YouTube videos and livestreams exceeded expectations too!
